Wednesday Word of the Day

palladian \puh-LEY-dee-uhn\, adjective:

1. Pertaining to wisdom, knowledge, or study.

2. Of or pertaining to the goddess Athena.

3. Pertaining to, introduced by, or in the architectural style of Andrea Palladio.

~ I love the way this word spills over the tongue, plus the meanings make me want to change it somehow into a characters name...hehe. ~

  2. Odd, Athena came to mind yesterday. She must be impressed with us erotic romance authors.

Fascinating word. I always think of Jack Palladin, the actor. Or, there was a western with a character named, Pallidin (sp?).
