Ah, A Quiet Weekend!


So I sent my troop off for some weekend fun, camping at a state park close to home and guess what!  It was so quiet around that I was able to edit a story I'd finished a while ago, just had not been able to get back to.  Yay!

I really like the story.  It has it all-magic, submission and latin phrase fun! :)

I did find however that the story needs more writing to be complete.  My ending worked for me during the initial draft, but upon this re-read, I found it to be unsatisfying.  As did my CP, so back to the drawing board for an improved ending!  Wish me luck!

    Oh, Serena, good luck.

    I just went through that with one of the ending sentences in Branded... I'm satisfied with how the story ends. However, my struggle was how to express it in actual words.

    I re-worked that section several times before I submitted. Then, with editing I reworked a couple of sentences. And on this last go around, I reworked one sentence. I so hope it works as intended.

    Yay, edits really are fabulous things. It gives us a chance to re-work the glitches. ;)

    I can't wait to read Branded! I'm sure it will work wonderfully!
