Tuesday Two...Quotes

Quotes from a famous American.  That was Darling Diva's project this week for school.  So when I asked her if she had an American in mind to use she, in her just now learning about social studies way, said "George Washington, Mom."

Okay. 

The second part of the project was to tell what the quote means to you.  Now she picked different quotes than I did, but as I was helping her find quotes by our famous first president, I came across two that struck a cord in me for this Tuesday Two.

A Cherry Blossom Kind of Day...

Today, cherry blossoms are connected to innocence, spring and simplicity.

Innocence, Spring and Simplicity...I adore that connection to the cherry blossom, but I'd like to add two more of my own thoughts to that.  Hope and Love!  Because we are in desperate need of both around the world right now.

~Oh heaven's above, I chortle!  Yes, when I laugh really hard or out of control-like, I snort. *blushes to the tips of her ears*  I always have and I guess always will, but I must say I do like it described as Chortling better than snorting.  *wink*~

How do you like my self-portrait?  Yep, that really is a gleam in my grin!  I have good news to share and as you may have guessed...

A Magical Return is the story of natural born vessels to a magical race called the Others, Conleth “Cole” Douglas and Emterra “Irene” Azzurra. They must save their town from a dark evil, but can they save their love as well?

Conleth “Cole” Douglas, warlock and vessel, needs a miracle. A destructive force has taken hold of his town and it will take more than just he and his magical Other, Cole, to eradicate the Evil.
