yaw \YAW\, verb:
1. To move unsteadily; weave.
2. To deviate temporarily from a straight course, as a ship.
3. (Of a vehicle) to have a motion about the vertical axis.
Now here's a word I'd use in a Sci-fi story all right, I'm thinking space travel. ;)
Now, that's a word I've never fully understood. I've seen it in stories per definition.
