Tuesday Trivia

How fair ye on this fine Tuesday Morning?

Question:  What trade was Greek philosopher Socrates trained for?

A: Stonecutting.

I wonder if there was a difference between stonecutting for art and stonecutting for everyday living...plus, does the physical labor lead to philosophical pursuits?  Hmmmm

  1. Oh, interesting. I think physical labor does often lead to philosophical thought, by my own experience.

  2. I agree, Savanna. There something about extreme physical labor that leads to deep thoughts. Maybe it's the rush of adrenaline....hmmm, the same could be said for amore, the most pleasent of physical endeavors. ;)
