How fair ye on this fine Tuesday Morning?
Question: What trade was Greek philosopher Socrates trained for?
A: Stonecutting.
I wonder if there was a difference between stonecutting for art and stonecutting for everyday living...plus, does the physical labor lead to philosophical pursuits? Hmmmm
Oh, interesting. I think physical labor does often lead to philosophical thought, by my own experience.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Savanna. There something about extreme physical labor that leads to deep thoughts. Maybe it's the rush of adrenaline....hmmm, the same could be said for amore, the most pleasent of physical endeavors. ;)
