Hope, Faith and Love...
She layers death upon us all
Her icy tears lay where they fall
And quietly we slide to sleep
Our death, our life she takes inside her keep.
Shortened days and longer nights
Our souls stay strong, ready to fight
Our shells withstand the terrible cold
Our faith awaits the new day to take hold.
With warmth from the one who travels from east to west
We hope to rise from our deep rest
Our fate decided by one not meek
Our mother’s love we shall but seek.
