Wednesday Word of the Day
Libation \ly-BAY-shun\, noun:
1. The act of pouring a liquid (usually wine) either on the ground or on a victim in sacrifice to some deity; also, the wine or liquid thus poured out.
2. A beverage, especially an alcoholic beverage.
3. An act or instance of drinking.
~Now here's one of the things I like best about the word of the day. When I first saw this word pop up, I thought, well who doesn't know what libation means! heh heh, duh! Apparently, not me...or at least not all of the definitions. It's the act of pouring....not just the drinking of a liquid. Who knew!~

At least, your blog is back. Yay!
ReplyDelete:) Yep, now I need to figure out my website.
ReplyDeleteAre you creating it yourself?
ReplyDeleteHey Savanna,
ReplyDeleteWhew...I spent much of today putting the new site back together. Last time I wrote the code for it, but this time I just used a click and create version available at godaddy. It was very easy, just takes time to decide what to go with. Plus, I like to play with the designs. I like this one because it is very easy to update.
